Vivago® is an innovative personal alarm and wellness monitoring system based on the patented IST Bodycode® technology developed by International Security Technology (IST), a Finnish telecare company founded in 1993. CONTINUOUS WELLBEING MONITOR
The unique Vivago wellness watch continuously monitors the well-being of its user. The Vivago system enables manual push-button alarms and automatic alarms.
Automatic physiological alarms are generated if the user appears to be unconscious or has been unusually passive for a longer time. The Vivago system continuously monitors its performance and automatically notifies a predefined party if it isn’t working properly. The watch also knows if it is on the user’s wrist, which enables the alarm recipient to know when the user is secured by the system.

IST offers two technical options for the Vivago alarm system – a nurse-call system for residential use and a telecare system for home use.
VIVAGO NURSE-CALL SYSTEM
The Vivago nurse-call system is intended for use in different forms of institutional care facilities, such as residential care homes, ExtraCare schemes and nursing homes.
The activity curve, made visual by IST’s Vista software, enables continuous real-time activity monitoring from all customers. The activity data can be used for preventive care purposes, for tailor-making customer alarm profiles and for monitoring the circadian rhythm. Each customer wears a wrist unit that works all over the building. The system can be complemented with door-specific wandering detection.
VIVAGO TELECARE SYSTEM
The Vivago telecare system enables older, vulnerable people and those with long-term conditions to live safely and securely at home for a longer period of time. Vivago telecare allows carers to remotely check the wellbeing of their clients and take necessary action before a crisis occurs.
At home, the base unit, which also works as a hands-free telephone in alarm situations, is connected to the public telephone network through which the alarms are forwarded to a professional call centre. The alarms can also be forwarded to relatives and friends through the IST Gateway service.
USER-FRIENDLY WELLNESS MONITORING SYSTEM
The Vivago wellness watch brings the users and nursing staff a new level of user-friendliness. The multi-function watch shows its users not only the time, but also the date or weekday, their amount of exercise and quality of sleep. The design of the alarm button makes it discreet, yet very easy to use. The waterproof watch uses a rechargeable battery, which needs to be charged every six months and the charging time is one hour. The watch comes in different colors and the straps are changeable.
