GATE – Patient Assistive Devices
GATE is the innovative Swedish manufacturer of solutions for walking, baths, hygiene, rollators, walking tables and hygiene chairs. A GATE product always has that little something special in terms of design and function.

GATE follows the Scandinavian tradition of health care, with a strong focus on the individual’s situation and a perfect ergonomic fit. The company takes a holistic approach to developing assistive devices, focusing on the patient as well as the care-giver. The products undergo stringent testing by established institutions.

ROLLATORS
The GATE rollator range is complete and offers a solution for every need. All models come with an array of fun and practical accessories.

ADJUSTABLE ROLLATOR
The RollX rollator has a modern sporty design, combining all functions on the market in a single model. RollX provides individual fit with an adjustable seat (nine different heights) and handles that can be tilted and angled endlessly. A spring-assisted mechanism makes folding quick and safe. The frame is all aluminium, and therefore stable, lightweight, and stylish. Weight is 7.8kg and maximum user weight is 125kg.

INDOOR AND OUTDOOR ROLLATOR
The Prima is the all-purpose rollator for indoors and out. Prima focuses on user safety and can be manoeuvred with one hand for greater total control. The patented Enkatsu Climber makes it easy to cross thresholds, kerbs and other obstacles. Weight is 8kg and maximum user weight 125kg.

LIGHTWEIGHT ROLLATOR
The Breeze rollator is the lightweight aluminium alternative for those with reduced strength, or those who travel extensively. Breeze can also be equipped with the Enkatsu Climber. Weight is 5.3kg and maximum user weight 113kg.

WALKING TABLES – GATE BURE
The GATE Bure walking table is a new take on walking support. Bure has a soft, open design that provides freedom of movement while maintaining stability. The electric rising and extra-wide leg features provide support for the user to be as free and self-sufficient as possible.

The anatomical cushions provide comfortable relief for shoulders, arms and neck. The ergonomic handles can be continuously adjusted to any angle for the right fit – extra important for stroke patients.

The Bure comes in three different models: the Bure Standard, which can be fitted with a gas piston or an electric motor, the Bure Double with dual electrical power, and the Bure Extra for larger users. Maximum user weight is 130kg – 240kg.

HYGIENE CHAIRS – GATE AMFIBI
The GATE Amfibi is an advanced, but extremely easily manageable hygienic chair for personal hygiene, with a strong focus on user comfort and care-giving ergonomics. The seat can be manually raised or lowered with no pegs to remove or legs to adjust. The fit is perfect, and the seat and backrest are designed to relieve pressure on the pelvis. An adjustable backrest with ‘spinal release’ provides additional comfort.

Amfibi also comes in tilting versions with gas pistons or electric motors to make it even easier to move and wash. Those models also have adjustable foot and neck supports, with breaking wheels on all models. Maximum user weight is 150kg.

HYGIENE PRODUCTS – GATE BALDER
GATE Balder is a hygiene series, which starts with a basic unit that can be expanded with accessories as needed. The core is the shower stool, with stability-enhancing ferrules on the adjustable telescopic legs. Add on with seats, backrests and armrests to create the tailor-made hygiene product.

The Balder series also includes products for specific situations – a turning chair, folding chair, wall-mounted shower stool and a range of bathtub solutions. That’s all it takes to unite function, safety, logistics and economy.
